A weekend at Sandhole.

What an amazing weekend of weddings! It doesn't often happen but this weekend I spent 2 nights in the same venue. I love performing at Sandhole barn. A real fairytale rural wedding venue. Just perfect. A brilliant venue run by an outstanding team. From the moment you arrive you feel very well looked after.

This weekend I played at 2 amazing weddings. Both nights couldn't have been more different. Different musical tastes which makes this job the job I love. I had an awesome time with guests and family friends and the barn was rocking all weekend. Many congratulations to both sets of brides and of course their gorgeous husbands ( Lucky Fellas ).

The weekend also gave me the opportunity to catch up with some of the very best wedding suppliers who I'm lucky enough to call friends. It's not often we get to sit down and have a proper chat. I actually arrived on both days a few hours early just so I could catch up with these amazing people, Adam Johnson & Toni Darcy documented Fridays wedding and the images will be nothing short of perfection. James Wray will be producing his take on events with a superb wedding film which I very much look forward to viewing. Fridays wedding also had some fun filled live music in the form of Triple Scotch. These guys had the room bouncing and really created the perfect atmosphere.

Saturday was equally as perfect. The weather was kind and the barn was set for yet another incredible day. David Stubbs covered the day and well into the night and no doubt will have captured some ground-breaking images. I'm probably more ( dare I say ) excited than the bride and groom to see these. John Boy Wilson from Perfect Weddings was also the man behind the camera to capture the day on film and I have no doubt the film he produces will be cinematic genius.

All in all the most perfect weekend was had and I thank my lucky stars that I'm involved with this wonderful industry. Special thanks to Annette and the team at Top Table Weddings And Events who continue to raise the bar in every principle. The service and food really is second to none.

The next weekend can't come around quickly enough.
